The Singapore Food Agency has granted regulatory approval to Aleph Farms for the sale of its cultivated Thin-Cut Steak. This decision makes Aleph Farms the first company authorized to sell cultivated beef in two separate markets, following its previous clearance in Israel. The company utilizes a business model that relies on regional manufacturing partnerships rather than constructing its own large-scale production facilities. Singapore will serve as the company’s hub for the Asia-Pacific region, while a similar base is planned for Switzerland to support European operations. The cultivated product, which consists of Black Angus cells and plant proteins, is intended to complement conventional beef production. Aleph Farms is currently seeking regulatory approval for its products in several other international markets as it continues to refine its manufacturing processes and production costs.
