Agrifood accelerator StartLife and European innovation community EIT Food have forged a strategic partnership to boost early-stage agrifood start-ups across Europe. This collaboration makes start-ups in StartLife’s program eligible for up to €1.5 million in investment funding from EIT Food—an opportunity previously exclusive to EIT Food’s own program alumni—provided they meet Horizon Europe guidelines. Combining StartLife’s acceleration expertise with EIT Food’s extensive investment network, the partnership aims to strengthen Europe’s innovation ecosystem by providing start-ups with unprecedented access to funding, shared resources, industry knowledge, and a continent-wide network to accelerate the development of healthy, sustainable, and resilient food systems.
