To address this challenge Department of Food Science has a portfolio of research projects with synergies where this position is part of a larger investment in cellular food at Aarhus University, lead from our group at Department of Food Science.This Phd project will exploit the option of using sidestreams from ongoing food production as a nutrient resource in the media for cultured cells and further evaluate the muscle satellite cell pool and upscaling conditions (e.g. basic process parameters for bioreactor settings) for sustainable and optimal upscaling.
