Mosa Meat has received €875,000 in repayable development capital from Invest International to support its transition from technology development to international commercial deployment. This funding will assist the Dutch company in navigating regulatory processes and establishing supply chain partnerships in markets including the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Mosa Meat, which gained recognition for producing the first cultivated beef burger in 2013, is currently focusing on the commercialization of cultivated fat as an ingredient for hybrid food products. The company has already submitted regulatory applications for its cultivated beef fat in the European Union, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. This investment follows previous funding rounds totaling over €58 million and aims to help the firm scale its production capabilities while meeting international safety standards.
