USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) on Wednesday issued updated instructions on how to collect cell-cultured food products and send samples to agency labs. According to the updated policy, after the first 10 samples of a specific cell line or production method are collected, inspectors must only collect additional samples quarterly.
