The Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) has approved a new research project on cultivated meat, exploring opportunities and challenges of its production in the UK. The study will examine environmental, social, nutritional, and economic impacts, as well as regulatory hurdles and public perception. Stakeholder perspectives will be considered, with publication expected in May 2025.
