The Good Food Institute (GFI) has named Nigel Sizer as its new CEO, effective August 26. Nigel Sizer, an expert in nature conservation and public health with a history of leadership at organizations like the Rainforest Alliance and World Resources Institute, will oversee GFI’s global operations. Both GFI founder Bruce Friedrich and Sizer himself emphasize that Nigel Sizer’s experience aligns perfectly with the organization’s goals, as he believes alternative proteins are the most powerful tool to address deforestation, biodiversity loss, and climate change.
