Aleph Farms has partnered with The Cultured Hub, a joint venture of Migros Industrie, Givaudan, and Bühler Group, to establish its first European production base in Kemptthal, Canton of Zurich, Switzerland. This move is part of Aleph Farms’ global expansion strategy and is designed to create a capital-efficient and decentralized supply chain for its cultivated beef products, branded as Aleph Cuts. The collaboration leverages the expertise of Switzerland’s prominent food, flavor, and bioprocessing companies to accelerate the commercialization of cultivated meat in Europe, positioning Zurich as a key hub for sustainable food innovation. The partnership also aims to ensure that production is responsive to local markets and regulatory environments, reinforcing Switzerland’s role as a leader in food technology.
