Australian cultivated meat company Vow is launching a Smoked Quail Spread for home use in Australia on October 30th, sold through their online store under the Forged brand. This limited-run product, containing 40% cultured Japanese quail with butter as the primary ingredient, will initially be exclusive to the Sydney area. This release follows the June approval of Vow’s cultivated quail by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), making it one of only a few cultivated meat products available directly to at-home consumers, similar to previous limited sales by GOOD Meat and the upcoming launch from Mission Barns.
