Cultivated meat company Fork & Good has acquired Orbillion Bio, a merger that consolidates their technology stacks to focus on cultivating pork and beef cells and creates what the company claims is the largest intellectual property portfolio in the sector. Operating across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, the combined entity aims to strengthen its market position and accelerate commercial traction, leveraging Fork & Good’s existing partnerships in North America and Asia, and Orbillion’s relationships in Europe and the Middle East, including a commercial agreement with Netherlands-based Luiten Food. The company, led by Fork & Good CEO Niya Gupta, will continue production at its pilot plant in Jersey City and Orbillion’s UAE-based subsidiary, with a strategic focus on mid-scale production to demonstrate cost efficiency and offer ingredients that enhance food products for manufacturers.
