Founder George Peppou has transitioned to an executive director role to lead a new startup focused on applying the company’s cell culture technology to sectors beyond food, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and leather alternatives. This leadership change follows recent operational adjustments at Vow, which include workforce reductions and a shift in strategy toward partnering with other companies to manufacture consumer products rather than producing them in-house. Vow, which produces cultivated quail products, recently secured regulatory approval in Australia and Singapore.
