The Good Food Institute is hosting an information session regarding the 2026 Advancing Alternative Proteins Planning Grants. This program provides ten grants of $25,000 each to researchers at nonprofit institutions in the United States and Canada. The funding is intended to help these researchers prepare competitive proposals for external grants that exceed $1 million. The program covers two specific areas known as Infrastructure and Research. During the webinar, organizers will explain eligibility requirements, funding restrictions, and the application review process. The official request for applications will be available on May 26, 2026. Interested applicants must submit their full proposals by July 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET.
