Cell AgriTech, a Malaysian cultivated meat startup, is set to open its pilot facility in Singapore by August 2025. This facility will produce Cell AgriTech’s own cultivated seafood and function as a contract manufacturing hub for other cultivated meat companies and startups. Partner companies will have access to dedicated bioreactors, real-time monitoring, training, and office facilities, with fully segregated operations to ensure IP protection and traceability. The facility will offer customized production setups, allowing partners to use proprietary media and process adjustments, and will also assist with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulatory applications. While currently focused on cell cultivation, the facility has the capacity to expand into fungi-based production if demand arises.
