This workshop is part of the Cultivated Meat Safety Initiative. In 2024 and 2025, New Harvest and Vireo Advisors hosted four working sessions across the US as part of Phase III of CMSI, one session in London during Climate Week, and in Amsterdam during the Future of Food Conference. These sessions are about bringing people together from academia, industry, government and NGOs, to coordinate efforts in developing open safety data and methods for cultured meat and seafood.
