Friends & Family Pet Food has launched cultivated meat treats and toppers for pets into retail in Singapore, following a sold out debut at the Singapore Pet Expo. The company’s founder, Joshua Errett, states the products focus on nutrition, offering protein rich, digestible meat with up to nearly 70% cultivated content. Singapore’s Animal & Veterinary Service approved the cultivated meat for pet food use in 2025. This introduction reflects a growing trend among pet owners who are increasingly scrutinizing food labels and seeking high quality nutrition beyond traditional kibble. Consumer interest has centered on the product’s benefits for pets, indicating a demand for accessible, real world cultivated pet food options.
