IntegriCulture, a Tokyo-based startup, has launched a Cell-Cultured Meat Starter Kit to accelerate R&D in cultivated meat. The kit includes a novel oxygen-permeable bioreactor, culture medium, and other essential tools, simplifying the prototyping process for researchers and startups. It aims to reduce costs, time, and expertise needed for cell culture, enabling higher cell densities and improved productivity. The kit’s flagship product is the Oxy-thru Cultivator, which allows for better oxygen supply and increased cell harvests. IntegriCulture’s goal is to democratize cellular agriculture and expand participation in the field.
