IntegriCulture, a Japanese cellular agriculture startup, reported a net profit of JPY40 million ($255k) for the year ending September 2025. The company provides infrastructure for the nascent cultivated meat sector, developing cost-effective tools like cell culture media and hardware. To sustain operations, IntegriCulture also generates revenue from non-food applications, primarily cosmetics, with its Cellament product. Its core innovation, the CulNet system, produces serum-like media using interconnected organ cells, aiming to reduce costs and regulatory hurdles. The company emphasizes a collaborative, modular approach to scaling, avoiding large bioreactors. IntegriCulture is also working to establish “Cell-Ag Cosmetics” as a distinct market category and engages with Japanese regulators regarding cultivated meat guidelines.
